L’ilise Sorrel; Final Fantasy XIV (OC)
Character Name: L’ilise “Lisie” Sorrel
Canon & History: Final Fantasy XIV (★)
Personality: A Miqo’te dancer working in tandem with the Warrior of Light. She is the founder and principal dancer of Troupe IX as well as proprietor of Miqo’teas. Her style of dance mirrors her personality: lively, bold, and full of spirit. She is both pure of heart and fiercely loyal, often to a fault; her innate red-hot passion stemming from Azeyma grants her an inquisitiveness balanced with a healthy dose of skepticism and reason whilst her inherited faith in Menphina from her Keeper fathers gifts her a sense of devout—albeit romanticized—notion of love. This results in a naïveté that belies her sharp tongue, no doubt influenced by her Limsan roots. In short, she is wild and sweet with a dash of temper.
She briefly flirted with the art of arcanima, a basis for her studies in red magicks from her esteemed fathers, but upon witnessing one of the Songstress of Ul’dah’s performances, Lisie’s heart has since been captivated by dance. This led her to Thavnair, the homeland of dancers, where she strived to perfect her technique. In addition, she has proficiency in both alchemy and botany—the latter borne of her fondness for tea.
Her Echo, while weak on its own, blesses her with an almost divine sense of intuition. She pushes others to find their true potential within themselves, whether they see it or not, often challenging their own self-perception, perhaps due in part because she secretly lacks confidence in her own. In her sojourns she has grown close with the Scions, though this has done little to tame her sassiness. On those who secure a place in her heart, she bestows utmost devotion, caring not of what thorns may prick her.
